Delivery Driver (independent contractor)

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and motivated Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers (1099) to join our logistics network. In this role, you will use your own cargo van or minivan to transport and deliver packages safely and efficiently to local customers. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated individuals who enjoy being on the road and managing their own workflow. Loading begins daily at 1:40 PM .
Responsibilities Package Loading:
Arrive promptly at the warehouse by 1:40 PM daily to load packages into your vehicle.
Route Navigation:
Use your own smartphone to operate our delivery application and GPS navigation tools for optimal routing.
Safe Delivery:
Safely transport and deliver packages ranging in size, ensuring they reach the correct destination undamaged.
Physical Handling:
Regularly lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Customer Service:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and warehouse staff.
Requirements & Qualifications Vehicle Ownership:
Must own minivan or full-size cargo van in good operational condition.
Experience:
Previous professional driving or delivery experience is required.
Legal:
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record (MVR check required).
Technology:
Must own a smartphone capable of reliably running our proprietary delivery application and GPS navigation software.
Physical Capability:
Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Contractor Status:
Must be willing to operate as an independent contractor (1099) and manage your own vehicle expenses, fuel, and taxes.
Pay:
$75.00 - $150.00 per day Application Question(s): Do you have a mini van? Are you at least 18 years old?
