In this role you will support the Head of Logistics and perform a broad range of duties including but not limited to:

Dispatch Manager Duties:

Managing the daily dispatch of bale route drivers. Management and oversight of the driver team (25+ drivers). Responsible for all Driver DOT compliance to include ELD/HOS, pre trip/post trip reports, CDL and DOT physical compliance and submission of trips reports, Bill of Ladings, scale tickets and any other required documentation. Responsible for scheduling and coordinating repair and maintenance of equipment used by drivers, including tractors, trailers and bobcats. Responsible for creating and maintaining routing strategies that maximize efficient use of driver hours while servicing our customers. Responsible for daily and weekly communication with customers in support of on-time service, ETAs, and safety related issues at customer locations.

General Duties:

Creation of daily work assignment/route/trip for drivers. Dispatching drivers on their respective work assignment and ensuring routes are completed on time. Working with drivers and office team to conduct proper workflow and processing of loads. Updating of daily, weekly, monthly reports on fleet on-time service performance, driver safety reviews, driver route completion. Creation and completion of loads in cieTrade. Leading people by example - coaching, training and guiding all team members.

Required Skills:

2+ years in a management position. 3+ years in fleet operations or related field. Must be highly organized and professional, able to multitask, work well under pressure, and have great communication skills. Recycling/waste industry experience a plus. Must be a self-starter and able to work in a team environment with no supervision. Individual must have the ability to work overtime/flexible hours. Hours will vary depending on driver start time and current project needs. Starting hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm. All candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
