Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to lead and support transportation operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the transportation team, supporting drivers and Route Leaders, maintaining
DOT/FMCSA
compliance, and ensuring fleet and transportation operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong transportation experience who can manage people, resolve operational issues, monitor performance, and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. Requirements 5+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field. Previous experience managing or leading a transportation team is
REQUIRED
. Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance . Experience supporting drivers, Route Leaders, dispatch, routing, or transportation operations. Experience with fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and transportation equipment. Strong understanding of transportation performance metrics and operational costs. Experience managing budgets, expenses, and payroll is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with transportation management systems, routing software, TMS, or related technology. Ability to manage multiple priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. CDL-A license is preferred. Valid DOT Medical Card preferred/required as applicable. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Schedule Full-Time - Day Shift The position is primarily scheduled during the day. Candidates must be flexible to work beyond their scheduled hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, when necessary to support business and transportation operations.
