Job Description
Driver Team Lead / Route Manager Virgin Goddess Express Brookshire, TX; New Orleans, LA; Baton Rouge, LA Virgin Goddess Express is looking for dependable, hands-on leaders to help run our delivery teams. You'll help drivers get their packages sorted, scanned, loaded, and out of the warehouse. You'll also deliver packages on your own route and support your drivers so assigned routes are completed by the end of the day. You have the opportunity to recruit and build a driver team to operate under your leadership. All drivers must complete VGE onboarding and receive approval before entering the warehouse or taking a route. What you'll do Confirm driver attendance and package counts. Make sure drivers arrive with their safety vests, app access, and required onboarding completed. Help drivers sort, scan, load, and leave the warehouse promptly. Train drivers on the delivery app, clear proof-of-delivery photos, and correct undeliverable procedures. Run and complete your own delivery route while checking on your team throughout the day. Track completed deliveries, remaining packages, undeliverables, and returns. Help resolve route problems and communicate issues to VGE ownership. Send a start-of-day and end-of-day report. We're looking for someone who is organized, consistent, comfortable coaching people, and willing to lead by example. Delivery, courier, warehouse, or team leadership experience is preferred. You must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for your delivery route. Schedule, compensation, and position terms will be discussed during the interview.
