Job Description

Position Responsibilities Plan, direct, and coordinate the fleet, dispatch drivers and fulfill operations activities of RT organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage activities related to trucks, trailers and drivers Collaborate with other managers and staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Troubleshooting:
Determining causes of operating errors and taking actions as needed. Oversee all communications within specifically assigned fleet.
Manage the assigned fleet:
Drivers, trucks, and trailers. Monitor driver operations to ensure they are following Safety regulations, DOT regulations, customer's requirements, and on time delivery per their assigned schedules New hire onboarding: ensure drivers is clear on expectations related to Operations. Provision of departmental KPIs which measure departmental performance. Computer Skills Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point is required- Knowledge of McLeod software is a plus. Education Requirements HS Diploma, Associate Degree preferred Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field Core Competencies Strong Customer service skills: must communicate effectively with customers and drivers. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment while still following through and completing all tasks Service orientation: actively looking for ways to assist people.

Skills and Abilities The position may also perform other duties as required or are consistent with the background, training and Qualifications of the employee or may be delegated as being in the best interest of the Company.
