Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company fleet, equipment, maintenance, repairs, drivers, and DOT compliance. This is a hands-on management position. We need someone who understands trucks and equipment, can stay organized, control repair costs, manage vendors, and keep equipment ready to work. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of company trucks, trailers, and equipment Schedule and track preventive maintenance and repairs Keep accurate maintenance and repair records for each unit Coordinate repairs with our shop, mechanics, dealerships, and outside vendors Review repair estimates and invoices and help control fleet costs Track equipment downtime and make sure repairs are completed in a timely manner Manage DOT inspections and required fleet documentation Monitor driver pre-trip and post-trip inspections Oversee ELD, GPS, cameras, and other fleet systems Address vehicle damage, driver complaints, and equipment issues Track tires, registrations, inspections, permits, and other fleet requirements Coordinate truck and equipment assignments Help enforce company policies regarding speeding, phone use, smoking, vehicle care, and safe operation Maintain parts and equipment inventory as needed Communicate with management regarding major repairs, downtime, costs, and fleet needs Help develop better maintenance procedures and reduce unnecessary downtime and repair expenses What We're Looking For Previous fleet management, shop management, trucking, heavy equipment, or similar experience Strong knowledge of diesel trucks, trailers, and general equipment maintenance Good understanding of

requirements Ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities at the same time Strong organizational and record-keeping skills Comfortable working with computers, spreadsheets, GPS/ELD systems, and fleet management software Able to communicate professionally with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and management Able to hold drivers and employees accountable when necessary Good problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus Experience managing a mixed fleet of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment is a major plus The Right Person We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the fleet . If a truck is down, you know why it's down, what it needs, who's working on it, what it's going to cost, and when it's expected back. This position requires someone who can stay ahead of maintenance instead of waiting for equipment to break. You need to be comfortable working in the office, in the shop, and out in the yard.
