Commercial Driver's License Driver The Confidence Group - 4.8 Fort Worth, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Internship $22 - $25 an hour 17 hours ago Qualifications CDL B Outdoor work experience Commercial truck driving CDL A Construction site experience Mechanical knowledge Full Job Description CDL Driver - TMA Truck (Highway Striping Operations) Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to operate a TMA (Truck Mounted Attenuator) vehicle supporting highway striping and road construction operations. This role is essential for protecting work crews and maintaining safe traffic control in active roadway environments. Responsibilities Operate a CDL-classified TMA truck on highway and roadway construction sites Provide mobile impact protection for striping and maintenance crews Position and maneuver TMA vehicle according to traffic control plans and supervisor direction Assist with setup and removal of traffic control devices (cones, signs, barrels) Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and traffic control standards Communicate effectively with crew members, flaggers, and supervisors on job sites Support general labor duties as needed when not operating equipment Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B driver's license (as applicable to equipment) Clean driving record preferred Ability to safely operate large commercial vehicles in high-traffic environments Must be comfortable working in active roadway/highway conditions Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and travel as required Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Physically able to climb in/out of vehicle and perform field tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience operating a TMA truck or similar highway safety vehicle Background in highway construction, striping, or traffic control Familiarity with MUTCD traffic control standards Basic mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment or trucks Work Environment Outdoor highway and roadway construction sites Exposure to moving traffic, loud noise, and varying weather conditions Fast-paced, safety-critical work environment requiring constant attention

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
