In this vital role, you will operate our 1990 Mack Tandem dump truck while adhering to all safety and traffic regulations. Your dedication will help provide dependable asphalt and gravel delivery services for both commercial and residential services. Duties Safely operate Dump truck in accordance with all traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist team in hauling materials to and from job site and loaded equipment trailer. Follow emergency response procedures during incidents or accidents to protect those involved and staff. Maintain clear communication with Boss or Foreman to respond quickly to traffic changes or route adjustments. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before each shift. Maintain a clean work area. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A. Proven experience in operating and hauling in a dump truck. Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and state/local commercial driving laws. Ability to pass a drug test. Familiarity with emergency stop procedures, defensive driving techniques, and emergency response protocols for transportation. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities/staff Some knowledge of asphalt is a plus Ability to respond quickly to traffic changes and adapt routes accordingly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
