Job Description
Lamers Bus Lines is looking for motivated, people-focused Office Assistants to join our school bus department. You'll play a key part in keeping our terminal running smoothly—supporting daily operations, assisting the terminal manager, and stepping in behind the wheel when needed. Your days will include a mix of office responsibilities like coordinating routes, handling phone calls, and entering data, along with opportunities to get out on the road, filling in as a school bus driver as needed. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are a must. Job Requirements Knowledge of student transportation or commercial transportation operations is required. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Must be detail-oriented. Willingness to obtain CDL and assist with school bus driving as needed. Lamers will assist you in obtaining your CDL if you do not have one. Computer experience in a business or education environment is important.
