About the Role As a Commercial Transportation Specialist, you will play a vital role in our logistics operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of heavy machinery and industrial equipment. You will leverage modern fleet management technology to optimize delivery routes, maintain high service standards, and contribute to the overall productivity of our field operations. Responsibilities Operate heavy-duty commercial vehicles in full compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations. Execute timely deliveries and pickups, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Coordinate with site teams to maneuver trailers into precise loading and unloading zones. Manage essential shipping documentation, including bills of lading and invoices, to ensure accurate record-keeping. Perform routine vehicle inspections and fluid checks to maintain fleet readiness and report maintenance needs promptly. Optimize yard logistics by arranging trailers to facilitate efficient loading workflows. Provide professional, high-quality service during all customer interactions at delivery sites. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to pass all required DOT physicals, background checks, and drug screenings. Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and sit for extended periods during transit. Strong focus on safety protocols and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience in heavy equipment hauling or construction logistics. Proficiency with electronic logging devices and fleet tracking software. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues in the field. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and customers.
