Full-Time Landscape Maintenance Lead /

Crew Lead Compensation:

$3,000-$6,000 per month, depending on experience and performance

Schedule:

Full-time, starting at 5-10 hours a week and growing to approximately 40 hours per week

Gilbert and Nearby Cities About the Position We are a growing residential landscaping company looking for an experienced, dependable Landscape Maintenance Lead to join us full-time. This is a guaranteed full-time position . We are actively growing our recurring landscape-maintenance customer base and are looking for someone who wants stability now and the opportunity to grow with the company. We are willing to invest in the right person before the maintenance schedule is completely full. Your schedule will be managed by the company, and during slower maintenance periods you may assist with landscape improvements, cleanups, installations, irrigation work, and hardscape projects. This position has significant room for income growth. If you are helping us take on more work, customers are happy, jobs are being completed efficiently, and you are taking on greater responsibility, we are willing to increase your compensation accordingly. Compensation $3,000-$6,000 per month Your starting salary will depend on your experience, skill level, ability to work independently, and overall value you can bring to the company. We are not looking to keep the right person at the same pay indefinitely. As you demonstrate that you can: Manage a growing maintenance route Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality Keep customers happy Reduce callbacks and customer complaints Take responsibility for company equipment Help us successfully take on more customers Assist with larger landscape and hardscape projects Lead or train additional workers as the company grows there will be opportunities for meaningful pay increases within the compensation range. Someone who becomes a dependable crew lead and helps us grow the maintenance side of the company can earn toward the higher end of the range. What You'll Do You will primarily be responsible for residential landscape maintenance, including: Shrub and hedge trimming String trimming and edging Blowing and property cleanup Weed removal and general landscape cleanup Light pruning Routine yard maintenance Identifying irrigation or landscape problems Loading, securing, and towing a landscape trailer Caring for and organizing company equipment Taking before-and-after photos when needed Communicating professionally with customers Assisting with landscape installations, cleanups, gravel work, irrigation work, and hardscape projects when needed The goal is for you to eventually manage a growing maintenance route with minimal supervision and potentially help lead additional workers as the company expands. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone with real professional landscaping experience who can work efficiently without constant supervision.

The ideal candidate:

Has previous professional residential landscape-maintenance experience Knows how to properly trim and maintain common landscape plants Can complete standard residential maintenance efficiently Is dependable and punctual Has strong attention to detail Is comfortable operating commercial landscaping equipment Can safely tow and back a landscape trailer Has a valid driver's license Has a reliable pickup truck capable of towing a landscape trailer Can work outdoors and perform physical labor in Arizona conditions Communicates professionally with homeowners Takes pride in the quality of their work Is interested in taking on more responsibility as the company grows Experience supervising or working with another landscaper is a major plus. Additional Help for Larger Properties Most properties can be handled independently, but some larger yards, cleanups, or project days may occasionally require a second person. If you already know another experienced and dependable landscaper who may be available occasionally to help on larger jobs, that is a major plus. Any additional worker would need to be approved and properly arranged through the company. We are especially interested in someone who already has relationships with reliable people in the landscaping industry and could potentially help us build a larger crew as our workload increases. Equipment and Vehicle The company can provide the landscape trailer and primary landscaping equipment.

You will need:

A reliable pickup truck capable of safely towing the company trailer A valid driver's license A safe driving record Approved business use of your personal vehicle will be compensated separately. You are not required to own your own trailer or full set of landscaping equipment. Growth Opportunity We are looking for someone who wants more than a temporary landscaping job. The company is actively adding recurring maintenance customers while continuing to take on larger landscaping and hardscape projects. As the company grows, the right person may have the opportunity to take on responsibilities such as: Managing the maintenance route Training new employees Leading a second crew member Helping manage scheduling and job completion Assisting with larger landscape and hardscape projects Taking greater responsibility for the maintenance side of the company Increased responsibility and strong performance can lead to increased compensation.
