As a Crew Leader in our Maintenance Department, you will play a vital role in managing and guiding a team of gardeners to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality landscape maintenance. Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and train a crew of gardeners to complete assigned landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and productivity. Implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing coaching and support as needed. Assist with job setup, pruning techniques, and quality control evaluations. Support scheduling, routing, and dispatching of field labor in coordination with management. Address and resolve client and internal requests or complaints promptly, maintaining professional and courteous communication. Maintain accurate records and report any incidents, injuries, or policy violations to management and HR. Represent Stay Green Inc. professionally with clients, vendors, and the community. Ensure compliance with all company policies and maintain confidentiality as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of gardening or landscape maintenance experience. At least 1 year of supervisory or crew leadership experience. Valid Class "C" California Drivers License required; Class "B" preferred. Proficiency in both English and Spanish required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Basic knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance and irrigation systems. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Reliable transportation to job sites. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and using hand tools.
