Operations/Project Manager Job Summary The Field Crew Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the insulation installation crew. In addition to managing insulation installation projects, the Field Crew Lead will oversee the installation of additional materials such as fans, vents, and related components. This role involves working in diverse environments, including attics and crawl spaces, and candidates must be comfortable working in confined spaces. The Field Crew Lead serves as the primary point of contact on job sites, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Supervision:
Supervise and mentor field crew members during insulation installation and related tasks. Assign daily tasks, including the installation of insulation, fans, vents, and other materials, and monitor performance to ensure timely project completion.
Project Coordination:
Coordinate with project management and other stakeholders regarding schedules, material needs, and job site requirements. Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, project specifications, and local safety regulations.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure that all crew members follow established procedures, particularly when working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect completed work for quality, consistency, and compliance with project specifications. Report any issues or opportunities for process improvement to management. Working in
Confined Spaces:
Oversee work performed in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas. Maintain awareness of crew comfort and safety in confined spaces; ensure that any potential claustrophobic conditions are managed appropriately.
Administrative and Coordination Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, time sheets, and incident reports. Assist in inventory checks and the ordering of materials as needed. Other Duties as

Qualifications Proven experience in insulation installation, construction, or a related field, with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of safety protocols, including OSHA regulations, and familiarity with the installation of insulation and related components (e.g., fans, vents). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Comfortable working in diverse environments, including outdoor job sites and confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces; must be aware of and able to manage potential claustrophobia issues. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Lift 50lbs Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (a plus!)
Pay:
$27.00 - $40.00 per hour
