Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes. As a Crew Leader, you will oversee a team of landscapers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your expertise in tree care, groundskeeping, and landscape maintenance will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our clients. Must be proficient in operating a zero turn lawn mower among a variety of other landscape equipment. Heavy equipment operating experience a plus, must be comfortable and have experience driving a truck and towing a trailer. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscaping professionals in various projects. Plan and execute landscape maintenance tasks, including lawn care, and garden upkeep. Ensure the proper care of trees and shrubs, implementing best practices for health and growth. Train team members on landscaping techniques and safety protocols. Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide solutions. Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet client expectations. Experience Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles, with a focus on leadership and supervision. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, including irrigation systems and lawn care techniques. Experience in tree care is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. A commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety standards on job sites.
