Fleet Specialist — Freight Hub LLC Freight Hub LLC is seeking an experienced and hands-on Fleet Specialist to oversee and support a large commercial fleet of 100+ trucks and trailers . This position plays an important role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, reliable, and operating efficiently while supporting our drivers and transportation operations. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day management of a fleet consisting of 100+ trucks and trailers Coordinate vehicle assignments, availability, maintenance, inspections, and repairs Monitor fleet condition and ensure trucks and trailers remain safe and road-ready Work closely with drivers to address equipment, scheduling, and operational issues Track preventative maintenance and ensure repairs are completed promptly Maintain accurate fleet records, including inspections, maintenance, registrations, and equipment documentation Ensure compliance with applicable DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements Monitor driver and equipment performance and address issues as needed Coordinate with maintenance vendors, repair facilities, dealerships, and other service providers Help minimize vehicle downtime and control fleet-related costs Conduct regular fleet inspections and identify potential mechanical or operational problems Support driver onboarding and ensure drivers are properly assigned to equipment Maintain an organized system for tracking trucks, trailers, repairs, mileage, and maintenance schedules Assist management with fleet planning, equipment replacement, and operational improvements Respond to urgent equipment and operational issues when necessary Qualifications Valid CDL required Previous experience working with or managing a commercial truck and trailer fleet Experience working with 100+ trucks and trailers strongly preferred Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and commercial fleet requirements Strong understanding of truck and trailer maintenance Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and management Proficiency with computers, fleet management software, and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and follow-through Must be dependable, proactive, and capable of working independently What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on transportation professional who understands the trucking industry and knows what it takes to keep a large fleet moving.
