Columbus, GA Pay:
$20 / hour + monthly performance bonuses Glory Brothers Transport is seeking a dependable, organized, hands-on Driver & Fleet Supervisor to help oversee our drivers, vehicles, training, and daily field operations. This is not strictly a desk position. The right person will be comfortable supervising employees, coordinating vehicle maintenance, handling documentation, assisting dispatch, and driving when needed. Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day driver performance Monitor attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and safety Conduct driver coaching, training, and ride-alongs Track driver licenses, certifications, and expiration dates Assist with new-driver onboarding Monitor vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance Coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance Track vehicle downtime and cleanliness Review incidents, complaints, and safety concerns Assist dispatch and respond to field issues Cover transportation assignments when necessary Maintain accurate driver and fleet documentation Qualifications Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Previous supervisory experience required Transportation, fleet, logistics, dispatch, EMS, NEMT, or similar experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable holding employees accountable Basic computer and technology skills Able to work independently and make sound decisions Willing to drive company vehicles when needed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Dependable and organized Proactive Firm but fair Calm under pressure Comfortable leading employees Hands-on and willing to help where needed Focused on solving problems, not just reporting them Compensation Starting at $20 / hour, plus the opportunity to earn monthly performance bonuses based on results. Performance incentives are tied to areas such as driver compliance, safety performance, vehicle readiness, preventive maintenance, training completion, attendance, and overall operational performance. The goal of this position is simple: keep our drivers ready, our vehicles ready, and our service standards high.
