This role is vital in leading a team of skilled installers to deliver high-quality outdoor solutions that enhance our clients' properties. As a key leader on our team, you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, all while fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise installation crews during landscaping, hardscape, irrigation, and grounds maintenance projects across various construction sites. Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion. Operate company vehicles and outdoor equipment safely and efficiently, including grounds maintenance tools, landscaping machinery, and irrigation systems. Oversee the proper use of horticulture, gardening, tree care, and landscape maintenance techniques to achieve client specifications. Identify plants, trees, and other landscape elements to ensure correct installation and maintenance practices are followed. Manage crew safety by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections for hazards or compliance issues. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Support the training and development of crew members in landscaping techniques, equipment operation, irrigation management, and customer service skills. Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment operation. Proven supervising experience with team management in outdoor construction or landscaping projects. Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and plant identification. Ability to operate a variety of groundskeeping tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Leadership skills with a focus on crew management, motivation, and conflict resolution. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members effectively. Construction experience related to projects with an understanding of safety standards and quality control. Knowledge of horticulture practices including tree care, gardening techniques, and plant health management. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
