Overview Join our dynamic landscape and utility team as a Crew Lead, where you'll be at the forefront of outdoor project excellence! In this energetic role, you will supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and utility installation activities across diverse construction projects. Your leadership will ensure that each job is executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Lead and manage a team of landscape and utility crew members to complete lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and irrigation projects with precision and enthusiasm Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring safety protocols are followed and equipment is operated correctly Coordinate with project managers to plan work schedules, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines Conduct plant identification, grounds maintenance inspections, and quality control checks to ensure high standards of landscaping work Operate company vehicles and landscaping equipment safely while maintaining proper documentation of usage and maintenance Supervise the installation and repair of irrigation systems, including troubleshooting issues and ensuring efficient water management Provide mentorship to crew members in horticulture practices, gardening techniques, and equipment operation to foster skill development Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a focus on lawn care, landscape maintenance, hardscape installation, and groundskeeping Proven supervising or team management experience in landscaping or construction settings Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, and gardening best practices Skilled in irrigation management including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively; experience with tree care is a plus Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously Familiarity with construction projects' scope and requirements; experience in hardscape or outdoor construction preferred Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members and project stakeholders Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while leading a dedicated crew! Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
