Responsibilities of the Shipping Administrator may include but are not limited to:- Provide quality, professional service to customers, carriers and teammates
- General knowledge of inventory tracking and control
- Billing billets and finished goods via trucks and railcars
- Coordinating scale activity of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Controlling truck flow by appointment times using Dock Scheduling
- Provide daily reports for Shipping Department Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in an administrative role
- 1+ year experience using Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
