09/02/2026 Job Description Job Description Full-Time or Part- Time An established, physician-owned independent pediatric practice in Kankakee County is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. This is an opportunity to practice pediatrics in a stable, well-established private-practice environment with experienced physicians, a broad pediatric patient population, and substantial clinical support.The Position:
The NP/PA will provide outpatient pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents, including:- Well-child and preventive visits
- Acute/sick visits
- Follow-up care for common pediatric conditions
- Asthma and other chronic-care visits
- Patient and parent education
- Review and triage of patient-related calls
- Coordination of referrals and follow-up care
- Electronic medical record documentation The position may be structured as full-time or part-time, depending upon the candidate.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are interested in candidates who are clinically capable, efficient, dependable, and comfortable working collaboratively with physicians and other members of the pediatric care team. Experienced pediatric clinicians are welcome, and exceptional new graduates will be considered and mentored.Applicants must:
- Be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Hold or be eligible for Illinois licensure
- Have strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Be comfortable caring for the full range of general pediatric patients Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation and Benefits Compensation:
$60,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience, schedule, and productivity. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that may include:- Medical insurance
