  • Operations Supervisor
  • to join our team in
  • Elkhart, IN.
  • Our Operations Supervisor will work directly with the Operations Manager to formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans for the hauling company. We seek individuals with a leadership mentality and desire to grow with promotional opportunities in this role.

  • Schedule:
  • 5:30am start time averaging approximately 10-11 hours/day. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • + Assign and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment.
+ Monitor progress of daily operations, reassign employees, and make staffing changes as necessary. + Helps develop, track, and execute safety goals. + Conducts field inspections and audits of all site personnel to ensure proper work procedures. + Receives and reviews customer complaints regarding collection programs. + Oversees a variety of complex compliance programs including environmental, OSHA, and local permitting.
  • Requirements:
  • + Willing and able to obtain Class A or B CDL.
+ Must be able to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance. + Ability to work in all weather conditions. + Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
