Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Crew Lead to join our passionate team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily landscape maintenance projects, lead a crew of skilled workers, and ensure high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians on various outdoor projects, including lawn care, pruning, mulching and grounds maintenance. Coordinate daily tasks to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other tools. Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine irrigation maintenance to ensure healthy landscapes. Identify plants accurately to guide planting and pruning decisions; provide horticultural insights to team members. Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies during outdoor work activities. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites and material deliveries. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or landscaping with a strong knowledge of horticulture and gardening practices. Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment operation. Irrigation management, fertilization a plus. Strong outdoor work experience with an emphasis on safety, dependability, and attention to detail. Ability to identify various plants and troubleshoot landscaping issues confidently. Communication skills to effectively communicate and upsell customers Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles and trailers; CDL certification is a plus but not required. Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and coordinate project tasks efficiently.
