Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Shop & Facilities Administrator to oversee the maintenance operations and facility management at our busy service center. This role is vital in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining safety standards, and supporting our team with efficient facilities management. The ideal candidate will bring strong management skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience in industrial maintenance to help us keep our operations running seamlessly. Duties Manage and coordinate maintenance activities for shop equipment, facilities, and infrastructure to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Oversee the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems to troubleshoot issues related to HVAC, low voltage, high voltage, and industrial machinery. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing leadership and guidance in daily tasks while fostering a safety-first environment. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track maintenance history, and optimize asset management. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters; interpret schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical faults. Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget constraints. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to electrical systems, HVAC units, industrial machinery, and high-voltage equipment. Qualifications Proven management experience in facilities or industrial maintenance environments with supervising responsibilities. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience—familiarity with schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems is essential. Hands-on experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), CMMS platforms, HVAC systems, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and industrial machinery. Knowledge of maintenance management practices within manufacturing or industrial settings. Ability to read technical schematics accurately; proficient in using tools like ohmmeters for diagnostics. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while leading teams toward common goals. Fluency in English; strong communication skills are necessary for coordinating with team members and vendors.
