He or she will be accountable for addressing Driver inquiries, complaints and processing paperwork. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Responsibilities :
Manage and maintain all tractor and trailer files. Working with the mechanic shop and admin to ensure all tri-annual and annual inspections are scheduled and completed in a timely manner. All documents filed and updated accordingly. Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date; example Driver License expiry dates, etc. Responsible for managing all fleet documents. Ensure all equipment have proper documentation. For example; insurance documents, expiry dates, registrations, etc. Making sure drivers are accurately completing accident/incident reports when required. Review and follow up on any infractions, claims, convictions, incidents, and accidents as they occur. Managing, processing and auditing driver logs. Follow up on any outstanding discrepancies. Scheduling safety meetings/trainings when required with drivers. Perform other administrative duties when required. Knowledge of MTO audits. Processing and maintaining CTPAT and US DOT requirements. Registering and maintaining plates for new trucks and trailers. Knowledge of hours of service regulations a must!
Requirements:
2-3 years verifiable experience in safety and compliance in the logistics industry (required) Attention to detail Strong computer skills Excellent time management and prioritization skills Ability to work with all levels including drivers and upper management Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
