Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This contract opportunity is ideal for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a positive impact in educational environments. Serving schools near the Canton, MI area, this role extends through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to support diverse student populations. Openings are available for several SLPs, including multiple elementary caseloads and a position within a functional classroom for students requiring intensive support. Whether managing therapy across multiple sites or focusing in a single building, you will play a vital role in fostering students' progress and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Eligibility for Michigan SLP licensure Demonstrated experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams Strong commitment to student development and individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide ongoing speech-language therapy for students as outlined in their IEPs Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress Consult with classroom teachers and educational staff to support integration of therapy goals Engage in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaboration with other professionals Manage caseload responsibilities, which may include serving students across multiple buildings or within a functional intensive support classroom This role provides a rewarding atmosphere with opportunities to inspire and guide students at key stages of their educational journey.
