Working as a department leader, this supervisor sets the priorities for the team and identifies the solutions needed to solve a wide range of equipment issues. Schedule and assign needed equipment repairs, ensuring they are completed and documented in the company's fleet management software. Partner with local and national vendors to source needed parts at the most competitive pricing Oversee quarterly and off-season preventative maintenance schedules Review vendor invoices to authorize payment Actively engage with Operations Team Members through safety training and other educational sessions designed to support proper usage of equipment to reduce injury or damage. Maintain compliance to relevant DOT regulations and the company Safety Program Alter work schedule as needed during winter months to facilitate snow equipment repairs and 24/7 business operations. 2 years of leadership experience in a private fleet or retail repair shop environment 2 years of experience working as a mechanic or technician Experience in the landscape / snow management industries is preferred Basic knowledge of relevant
