Pyramid Contractors is seeking an experienced and motivated Insulation Crew Leader to supervise insulation installation crews on residential and light commercial projects. The Crew Leader is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service. This individual leads by example, develops crew members, and ensures compliance with all company policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable building codes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead and supervise insulation installation crews on a daily basis. Review project scope, work orders, and schedules before each job. Install and oversee the installation of fiberglass batt, blown-in fiberglass, blown-in cellulose, spray foam, and other insulation products. Verify that all installations meet manufacturer specifications, energy code requirements, and company quality standards. Coordinate daily activities with the Production Manager and office staff. Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, contractors, and inspectors. Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship. Conduct job site inspections before, during, and after installation. Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites. Operate insulation blowing machines, spray foam equipment, trailers, ladders, and other tools safely. Load, transport, and inventory insulation materials and equipment. Train and mentor new installers on installation techniques, safety procedures, and company expectations. Complete daily production reports, material usage reports, and time records. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce material waste. Report customer concerns, safety issues, equipment problems, or job delays to management immediately. Assist with roofing-related insulation work when required. Safety Responsibilities Follow all OSHA safety regulations and Pyramid Contractors safety policies. Conduct daily inspections of vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment. Ensure all employees wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Perform work safely in attics, crawl spaces, elevated work areas, and confined spaces. Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training. Immediately report accidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of three years of residential insulation installation experience. Previous experience leading a crew preferred. Working knowledge of fiberglass, cellulose, and spray foam insulation systems. Familiarity with residential construction and building practices. Ability to read work orders, plans, and installation specifications. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass background screening and any required pre-employment testing. Required Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds. Climb ladders and work on roofs when necessary. Work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday. Work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Wear respirators and other PPE as required.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
