DESCRIPTION
Team Fishel , the Best Choice for Utility Construction and Network Installation, is hiring Survey Crew Leaders within the Columbus, Ohio Professional Services Group. The Survey Crew Leader will be responsible for conducting surveys; performing complex survey duties; supervising the survey crew, and performing related work as required.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain survey equipment such as total stations, GNSS receivers, levels, and data collectors. Preparing detailed field notes and sketches to document survey activities Comprehensive understanding of survey principles, methods, and practices. Ability to interpret and analyze survey data, maps, and construction plans. Performs mathematical calculations. Know basic sources of measurement errors. Know principles of staking and marking. Performs other duties as assigned. R equirements &
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license required. Able to operate and train others in the use of survey equipment including conventional and electronic instruments and computers (hardware and software) Computer experience is desired. Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel. Possess good interpersonal skills, and effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel overnight and work overtime as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus Team Fishel will provide training for specific job functions for this position.
