Job Description

The Little Miami Local School District is seeking a dedicated and strategic leader to join our team as the Assistant Transportation Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Transportation Supervisor, this vital role helps direct, manage, and oversee the daily operations of the Little Miami Transportation Department. You will be responsible for designing safe, efficient bus routes for daily student transportation and extracurricular events, ensuring every student can safely access and take full advantage of the district's complete range of curricular and athletic programs. May be required to fill open routes and must have the proper certifications for school bus operation. Additionally, you will provide critical management oversight across key operational areas, including driver recruitment, hiring, evaluations, safety training, dispatch, payroll, and budget planning. This position ensures full compliance with state and federal transportation standards while managing departmental equipment inventory and vehicle maintenance to maintain a secure, high-performing fleet.
