Life Skills Institute Position Overview Life Skills Institute is seeking a dependable, Christ-centered woman to lead and work alongside female participants in our Work Readiness Program. This is a hands-on position focused on teaching practical job skills, developing healthy work habits, and helping women grow in confidence, responsibility, and independence. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with and mentoring women from a variety of backgrounds. She must be comfortable teaching landscaping, residential cleaning, and other hands-on work projects. Much of this position involves working outdoors and performing physical tasks alongside program participants. Primary Responsibilities Lead and supervise female Work Readiness Program participants. Teach proper landscaping and basic lawn-care techniques. Teach residential cleaning skills, organization, and attention to detail. Work alongside participants rather than only directing them. Prepare participants for employment by teaching punctuality, dependability, teamwork, communication, and a strong work ethic. Assign daily responsibilities and ensure work is completed safely and correctly. Transport participants and supplies to assigned job sites when required. Maintain tools, cleaning supplies, and program equipment. Encourage participants while also providing appropriate accountability and correction. Communicate participant progress, concerns, and incidents to program leadership. Help maintain a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered working environment. Lead or participate in prayer, Bible study, and spiritual encouragement as assigned. Represent Life Skills Institute professionally in the community and at customer job sites. Complete other program-related duties as assigned. Qualifications A committed Christian whose conduct and lifestyle represent Jesus Christ. Agreement with and willingness to support the mission and values of Life Skills Institute. Experience with landscaping, lawn care, residential cleaning, or similar hands-on work. Ability to patiently teach women with different skill levels and life experiences. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Dependable, organized, and able to provide both encouragement and accountability. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform landscaping and cleaning duties. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are preferred. Experience in ministry, mentoring, recovery services, workforce development, or nonprofit work is helpful but not required. Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
