In this pivotal role, you will lead and supervise a crew responsible for delivering top-quality lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping services. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, fostering a positive team environment while maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in landscaping, horticulture, and outdoor project management while guiding a dedicated team toward excellence. Duties Lead and supervise a crew in performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks across various client sites. Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and landscaping tools safely and effectively. Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and other landscape elements to maintain healthy growth and aesthetic appeal. Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and company policies; conduct safety briefings for team members. Manage company vehicle operation during project transport and site visits; maintain vehicle cleanliness and reporting of any issues. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional customer service. Assist with hardscape installation projects such as patios or walkways when needed. Support team development through training on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Skills Extensive knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control. Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, plant identification, and horticulture principles. Proven supervising experience with team management skills; ability to motivate and lead a crew effectively. Familiarity with outdoor construction projects such as hardscape installations or minor landscape modifications. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely; experience with groundskeeping tools is essential. Excellent leadership qualities combined with outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions. Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects at different locations efficiently. Knowledge of construction projects is a plus for understanding site-specific requirements. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike.
