Job Summary Landscaping Crew Leader Scissortail Landscaping is a family owned company looking for a high powered crew leader who is driven to succeed and looking to join our winning team. This person will oversee installation and customer satisfaction from start to finish. The perfect candidate will be a self-starter and possess the drive that results in growing the organization to be the best landscape company in Oklahoma Metro. You will work directly with clients and staff to maintain and deliver exceptional design and installations.

What You'll Do:

Work with management to create schedules and follow job specifications, including materials and timelines. Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframes. Ensures contractual obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner that is in line with proper company practices. Excellent communication skills with clients and staff to ensure customer expectations are met/exceeded. Help plan and direct daily field operations. Maintains safe working conditions on the jobsite at all times; follows and implements all company safety requirements. Ability to manage and complete in a timely manner multiple projects at once (scheduling, purchasing materials, change orders, punchlist, billing)

An organized, efficient and detail-oriented person Experience in a supervisory role in the Landscape or Construction industry Effective time management, organization, and multitasking skills Superb communication skills (written and oral) Exceptional plant knowledge of native shrubs, plants, trees, and plant material Knowledge of Retaining walls, Flagstone patios, Rock Borders and Irrigation (A plus) Bilingual (A plus)

Requirements:

Strong Knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment General landscaping - 5 year experience required Valid driver's license with good driving record

Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscapers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Perform and train landscape maintenance practices activities including gardening, pruning, planting, and grounds upkeep. Manage irrigation systems—upgrade and manage systems to ensure proper watering schedules for healthy plant growth. Coordinate hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including skid steers, mini skids excavators, and company vehicles responsibly. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all outdoor work activities and construction projects. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong knowledge of horticulture principles. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in outdoor or landscaping settings. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently; experience with irrigation management. Knowledge of hardscape construction techniques and general landscaping practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a crew effectively. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record.
