Crew Leader - Landscape Operations Take charge. Build your crew. Deliver excellence. We're seeking a reliable, hands-on Crew Leader to lead field teams in delivering top-tier landscaping services. You'll manage daily operations, support your team, keep customers happy, and ensure the job gets done safely, on time, and with excellence. What You'll Be Doing Crew & Jobsite Leadership Plan daily workloads and prepare tools and materials in advance Assign tasks to team members and ensure high-quality, timely completion Enforce company standards, safety protocols, and crew discipline Train team members using company processes (Job Sequencing, Gardener Training Series, etc.) Cross-train future leaders within your crew Customer Interaction Maintain a clean, professional appearance on site and in company uniform Serve as point of contact for clients and address their needs or concerns Proactively communicate customer issues or site updates to management Help identify safety risks or site issues for customer and company awareness Quality, Safety & Brand Excellence Conduct site inspections and maintain work to spec Keep daily punch lists to manage job quality and priorities Ensure all safety protocols, PPE usage, and tailgate meetings are followed Keep crew vehicles, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and functional Equipment Oversight Track equipment condition and follow maintenance and inventory schedules Complete inspections and reports (Vehicle Safety, Trailer Safety, Equipment Repairs) Be accountable for proper use and care of tools and vehicles Administrative Responsibilities Read and complete required forms and logs (e.g., LMRs, spray requests, accident reports) Help organize and implement work schedules Report irrigation issues or needed repairs to management Assist with crew performance reviews and tracking goals Requirements Prior experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance Strong communication and leadership skills (English and/or Spanish preferred) Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in all conditions Comfortable using tools, mowers, blowers, trimmers, and more Valid state driver's license and acceptable driving record (preferred) Ability to read schedules, safety procedures, and follow written instructions By using this site, you acknowledge that if you are offered employment, your sole and exclusive employer is the local franchised business that hired you, not U.S. Lawns.
