3rd Shift Roadside Assistance Coordinator
Job Description
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM Essential Duties & Responsibilities Respond promptly to drivers experiencing roadside breakdowns or accident-related equipment issues. Answer incoming calls and provide professional, timely support throughout the repair process. Coordinate towing, roadside service, repairs, rentals, and other vendor services as needed. Identify and dispatch the most qualified repair vendor based on location, availability, and service capabilities. Obtain repair estimates and approvals in accordance with company procedures. Assist with scheduling non-warranty repairs as directed. Process purchase orders and support invoice documentation related to repair services. Maintain ongoing communication with the Operations team regarding equipment status, load updates, and estimated delivery timelines. Accurately document repair activity and follow up to ensure repairs are completed efficiently. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Maintenance and Operations teams. Qualifications Previous experience in roadside assistance, fleet maintenance, dispatch, or a similar transportation support role preferred. Diesel, heavy equipment, or mechanical knowledge is required. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple issues simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation maintenance software is a plus. Must be dependable and able to work independently during overnight hours.
