Hardscaping Crew Lead Myers Lawn & Landscape Inc. is seeking an experienced, dependable Hardscaping Crew Lead to oversee the installation of high-quality outdoor living projects. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and knows how to keep a crew organized and productive. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a hardscaping crew on residential and commercial projects Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, fire pits, and other hardscape features Read and follow project plans, measurements, elevations, and material specifications Lay out jobs and ensure proper excavation, grading, base preparation, drainage, and compaction Safely operate skid steers, mini excavators, compactors, saws, and other equipment Assign daily tasks and provide clear direction to crew members Monitor workmanship, productivity, and jobsite safety Track materials and communicate job needs before delays occur Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites Communicate progress, challenges, and change requests with the Operations Manager Ensure projects are completed according to company standards and scheduled timelines Represent Myers Lawn & Landscape professionally when interacting with customers Qualifications Previous hardscaping, construction, masonry, or landscape installation experience required Prior crew leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred but not required Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, drainage, base installation, compaction, and paver installation Ability to read measurements, calculate materials, and follow construction plans Experience operating hardscaping and excavation equipment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a dependable driving record Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 80 pounds Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to complete projects What We're Looking For The ideal candidate leads from the front, holds themselves and their crew accountable, and refuses to sacrifice quality for speed.
