Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all outside vehicle & equipment repair operations, including all outside vehicle repair vendors, finding new vendors and releasing underperforming vendors.
- Monitoring and approval of all outside repair PO's through the fleet management system.
- Meet with each outside vendor at least 1 time per year and more often as needed, i.e. performance concerns or more frequent visits for higher spend vendors.
- Perform vendor repair audits on vehicles/equipment repaired at an outside vendor.
- Meet with each NFG Ohio service location multiple times per year to discuss vendor performance, attend safety meetings, and discuss any fleet/tool related issues.
- Review and respond to all safety issues that arise across the entire fleet.
- Discuss all large dollar repairs with NFG shop supervisor to consider in-house repairs or coordinate with local vendor to get jobs done in a more cost-effective and efficient matter minimizing down time.
- Perform DOT audits company wide.
- Assist Fleet Manager with vehicle replacement Company tour, asset procurement, upfitting, and disposal.
- Manage Ohio telematics program, including all monthly reporting.
- Manage Capital Tools in Ohio including budgeting, research, bidding, maintenance, repairs, calibrations, tracking, and coordination with Fleet Manager.
- Oversee and schedule all Ohio crane inspections and maintenance.
- Monthly travel to NY Fleet Operations for department meetings or special events.
- General support of local field operations.
- Manage monthly vehicle PM's to ensure compliance company wide.
- Monitor outside vendor costs monthly and review with Fleet Manager.
- Report on vendor performance for all assets out of service for 5+ days, along with monthly downtime average across all 3 companies.
- Manage Ohio Company motor vehicle accidents by coordinating with the Risk Dept. and ensuring all damage gets repaired in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain additional reporting as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field. Prior experience in technical and mechanical troubleshooting. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Ability to respond to emergency, after hour calls as needed.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to present material to an audience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in fleet management and upfitting with knowledge of tools/equipment. Experience managing and leading/coordinating groups & vendors.ABOUT NATIONAL FUEL

The base salary range for this position is $62,500 - $85,000. This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
