In this role, you will manage a team of landscape crew members, ensuring high-quality outdoor work that enhances the beauty and functionality of our clients' properties. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence in all landscaping activities, including lawn care, plant identification, and irrigation management. Duties Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and groundskeeping to ensure top-tier quality standards. Manage irrigation systems— repairing, and maintaining irrigation equipment to promote healthy landscapes. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and maintenance tailored to each species. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including company vehicles, mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools. Coordinate team schedules, assign tasks effectively, and monitor crew performance to maximize productivity. Enforce safety protocols on-site to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, horticulture or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments. Supervising or team management experience within landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of plant identification, tree care, irrigation systems, hardscaping construction projects, and grounds maintenance equipment operation. Demonstrated ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently; valid driver's license with company vehicle operation experience is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a crew effectively. Knowledge of landscaping best practices including gardening techniques and grounds management standards. Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
