In this dynamic role, you will lead a crew dedicated to safeguarding soil stability, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and maintaining the integrity of erosion control systems. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating activities, managing safety protocols, and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently. Duties Lead and supervise a team of erosion control technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality work standards. Oversee installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of erosion control measures such as silt fences, sediment basins, straw wattles, and other BMPs (Best Management Practices). Manage crew schedules, safety training sessions, and equipment inventories to optimize productivity while maintaining strict safety standards. Skills Must have VALID drivers license and CLEAN driving record. If the canidate is not cleared to drive, they will not be considered. Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on erosion control or environmental mitigation Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced construction environment; capable of supervising multiple crews effectively. Strong communication skills for managerial coordination, safety briefings, and client interactions; adept at managing contracts and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. Ability to operate skid steers with sweeper and bucket attachments, mini excavator and trencher.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
