We're Hiring:
Jail Administrator ?? The Union County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dedicated, experienced leader to serve as our Jail Administrator . This position oversees the daily operation of the Union County Jail, including staff supervision, inmate management, policy implementation, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with South Dakota Jail Standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Supervisory/management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid South Dakota driver's license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a background investigation
