Landscape Crew Leader - Commercial Maintenance The Grounds Guys of Dallas is looking for an experienced Landscape Crew Leader to run day-to-day operations on our commercial maintenance crews. This is a hands-on role — you'll be working alongside your crew every day, not just supervising from the sidelines. You'll set the pace, maintain our quality standards, document your work, and represent our company at commercial properties across the DFW area. What You'll Do Work alongside a crew of 2-3 landscape technicians, actively performing mowing, trimming, edging, bed maintenance, and general property upkeep Lead daily commercial maintenance routes (HOAs, retail centers, property management accounts, and similar sites) Drive crew and equipment safely to and from job sites Set the standard for quality and pace on-site Take before/after photos at each site to document completed work and site conditions Use a mobile app/tablet to log job status, complete checklists, and update work orders in real time Communicate directly with property managers and site contacts as needed Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures Inspect completed work before leaving each site Report equipment issues, site concerns, or scheduling conflicts to management Maintain accurate daily production logs What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial landscape maintenance Prior experience leading a crew while still actively working alongside them Comfortable operating mowers, trimmers, edgers, and other standard landscape equipment Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for photo documentation and job management software Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to haul trailers Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Landscape installation or hardscape experience a plus, but not required Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, and plant care practices What We Offer Competitive pay and bonuses Steady, full-time work with a growing local company Opportunity for advancement into supervisory/production roles The Grounds Guys of Dallas is part of a trusted national franchise network known for professionalism and quality service.
