Transportation Supervisor Location:

Katy, TX Lead Our Transportation Team! Join a growing company in the food distribution industry and lead a team of CDL drivers responsible for delivering products to restaurants throughout the region. We're looking for a hands-on Transportation Supervisor who is passionate about safety, operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams. Schedule Day Shift (Start between 6:00 AM-9:00 AM , ending approximately 4:00 PM-5:00 PM ) Work Saturdays Off Sundays plus one weekday Compensation & Benefits This is a salaried position offering an excellent benefits package, including: Medical, Dental & Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Additional company benefits Responsibilities Lead daily transportation, routing, dispatch, and delivery operations. Manage, coach, and develop CDL drivers and transportation staff. Ensure DOT, FMCSA, and company safety compliance. Improve route efficiency, on-time delivery, and operational performance. Manage transportation costs, labor, fuel, and fleet utilization. Oversee fleet maintenance and equipment readiness. Partner with Warehouse, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure outstanding service to restaurant customers. Qualifications 5+ years of transportation or logistics management experience. Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations. Experience managing CDL drivers in food distribution or a high-volume delivery environment preferred. CDL license is a plus. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience with routing software, ELD systems, and Microsoft Excel. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
