Hourly pay, overtime, benefits, bonus opportunities Position Summary BWS Landscaping is seeking dependable and motivated Crew Leaders to lead landscape maintenance and enhancement crews throughout the Richmond region. This role is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining a safe work environment, and developing team members. Crew Leaders play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while helping develop the next generation of field leaders. Responsibilities Lead and manage a landscape maintenance or enhancement crew on a daily basis Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to BWS quality standards Conduct daily jobsite preparation, crew direction, and equipment inspections Communicate clearly with Operations Managers regarding job progress, issues, and material needs Train and mentor crew members on proper landscaping practices, safety procedures, and company expectations Operate trucks, trailers, mowers, handheld equipment, and other landscape tools safely and responsibly Maintain accurate daily paperwork, time tracking, and job documentation Ensure company vehicles, trailers, and equipment are kept clean and organized Promote a positive team culture aligned with BWS core values Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and seasonal environments Qualifications Previous experience leading a landscape crew or leading a team outside of landscaping is required Minimum of 2 years of professional landscaping experience preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to safely operate landscape equipment and vehicles Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment or materials weighing 50+ pounds Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $23-$26 per hour based on experience Weekly pay Overtime opportunities available Employee referral bonus program Anniversary bonus program Company-provided uniforms and access to safe, well-maintained equipment Health insurance Retirement plan with company match up to 3% 2 weeks paid time off (PTO) with accrual beginning on day one 8 paid holidays annually, including additional holidays around Thanksgiving and Christmas Ongoing training, development, and advancement opportunities About BWS Landscaping Founded in 2011, BWS Landscaping is a leading commercial landscape company serving the Richmond region.
