Job Description Summary:
Aviagen Turkeys Inc. is hiring new Assistant Setup Crew Leads to support the preparation of rear farms for new flocks. This position helps ensure farm facilities and equipment are properly installed, arranged, tested, and ready before flock arrival. The Assistant Setup Crew Lead works closely with Setup Crew Leads, Farm Leads, and other team members to complete setup activities safely, efficiently, and according to company standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with preparing rear farms for the arrival of new flocks. Set up, position, and test farm equipment, including feeders, drinkers, brooders, barriers, and other required equipment. Help inspect barns and equipment to identify maintenance or setup needs. Assist Farm Leads and Setup Crew Leads with completing assigned farm-preparation tasks. Provide guidance and support to setup crew members as directed by the Setup Crew Lead. Load, unload, move, organize, and maintain equipment and supplies. Confirm that equipment is operating correctly and report damaged or malfunctioning items. Help maintain an accurate inventory of setup equipment, tools, and supplies. Follow company safety, biosecurity, sanitation, and animal-welfare procedures. Maintain clean and organized barns, vehicles, work areas, and storage locations. Complete required checklists, records, and other setup documentation. Communicate setup progress, equipment issues, and supply needs to the appropriate lead or supervisor. Travel between farm locations as needed to support setup activities. Perform other farm-setup and operational duties as assigned.

Ability to handle moderate to physical work Must be able to complete repetitive work and stand for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure Must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision Proven reliability in work attendance and willingness to give best effort Must have own reliable transportation
