This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who is organized, dependable, energetic, and comfortable taking ownership of their work. The position supports both our day-to-day warehouse operations and our local events and markets. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager to keep inventory organized, orders moving, markets prepared, and the warehouse running efficiently. We're looking for someone who can work independently, think critically, and recognize what needs to happen next without constant direction. For the right person, there is significant opportunity to grow into additional operational responsibility as SWOOP continues to grow. What You'll Do Pick, pack, and ship online and wholesale orders accurately and efficiently Receive, organize, count, and maintain inventory Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse Process returns, exchanges, restocks, and other day-to-day inventory needs Prepare inventory, displays, equipment, and supplies for markets and events Pack and load vehicles for events and assist with setup, breakdown, and post-market organization Attend local markets and events as a SWOOP vendor, representing the brand, assisting customers, recommending products and sizing, and processing sales Make post office, shipping, supply, and other local business runs Assist with operational projects and process improvements Take on additional responsibilities and projects as the business grows We're looking for someone who is: Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Energetic and comfortable working in a physically active environment Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage their time effectively A quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and good judgment Comfortable taking initiative and identifying what needs to be done Personable, professional, and confident interacting with customers Comfortable selling and recommending products in a market or event environment Flexible and able to adjust when priorities change A strong communicator and collaborative team member Interested in learning how a growing small business operates and taking on greater responsibility over time Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory, fulfillment, retail, sales, events, logistics, or another hands-on work environment is preferred. A college education is a plus, but relevant work experience, demonstrated initiative, and a strong track record of responsibility are equally valuable. Position Requirements Full-time, year-round availability for approximately 40 hours per week Weekend availability for markets and events is required, with particularly high weekend availability needed during August + November Some evening and extended event hours may be required throughout the year Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to spend extended periods standing, walking, lifting, packing, and working on your feet Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation Comfort using computers and learning new software and systems
