Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the distribution facility's DayShift Supervisor, H.T. Hackney's Warehouse staff are a vital part of our distribution process, through the receiving of product to the shipping to our retail customers. A strong, positive culture is critical to our operations and is a key piece to what we look for on our Team as well. Duties include:

Include but not limited to unloading trucks, breaking down incoming product, stocking, picking or joining in where needed.

• Helping with the preparation of your Load Zone through a cleanly work space, organized load dock, and efficient practices as you stock zones in the warehouse (stacking, placing product, etc.)
• Maintaining your Load Equipment that is assigned to you (pump pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, etc.)
• Communicating with your Shift Supervisor for any needs or changes that will help performance
• Demonstrating the ability to work well with Team Members on your Load Team
• Making sure that your Department is organized and clean at the
• end• of your shift for the following day • Makes sure all safety practices are adhered to.

• Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow the warehouse process
• Thorough attention to detail as you rotate and stock
• Ability to manage one's time and priorities throughout the shift
• A positive and healthy attitude and outlook on your position and responsibilities
• Ability to operate heavy distribution equipment (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc.)
• available as time and training permits
• Be a self-starter and take initiative, such as looking for ways to grow within your team personally and professionally
• This position requires heavy lifting, a fast-pace flow, and strenuous movement

Experience and Education:

• High School Degree
• Preferred, but not required
• Past experience within warehousing positions or distribution
• preferred, but not required
• stand up fork lift experience preferred
