About the Role Shipping Lead for pickers and packers is responsible for coordinating daily outbound operations to ensure timely and accurate shipment of customer orders which includes picking, packing, and processing orders is complete and conducted effectively and in a timely manner. This position will work closely under the direct supervision of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who is able to give and take constructive feedback, effectively collaborate with coworkers, and prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a positive attitude and excellent people skills. What You'll Do Managing the picking and packing process to ensure efficiency and accuracy in order fulfillment Organizing staff, maintaining inventory records and addressing any issues that arise during the picking and packing process. Train new staff in the picking and packing process, ensuring all safety measures are adhered to Additional Expectations Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. 2+ years team lead or supervisory experience 2+ years' current forklift experience 2+ years' experience in shipping and receiving, especially shipping/receiving software and ERP systems 2+ years' inventory experience Must have basic math skills. Must be detail oriented, efficient, and able to work under minimal supervision and guidance. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions when furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be computer literate. Able to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted. Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift. What You'll Get Pay range: $24 USD per hour.
