The Warehouse Supervisor partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure uninterrupted material flow and operational excellence. Proficiency in SAP — with SAP EWM highly preferred — is essential to success in this role.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse personnel; own performance management, training plans, and employee development to build a high-performing, safety-first team. Direct all warehouse operations — receiving, inspection, storage, material handling, inventory control, and shipping — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all shifts. Maintain inventory integrity through disciplined cycle counting, audits, reconciliations, and root-cause resolution of discrepancies; target and sustain best-in-class inventory accuracy. Oversee Kanban and replenishment systems to guarantee uninterrupted material availability for production; proactively identify and resolve supply gaps before they impact the line. Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders to meet delivery commitments and customer requirements. Ensure timely and accurate SAP transactions for all inventory movements, receipts, and shipments; champion data integrity as a foundation for operational decision-making. Develop, track, and report warehouse KPIs — including inventory accuracy, on-time shipment, receiving performance, and labor productivity — and drive continuous improvement actions. Lead 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, material flow, storage utilization, and overall operational efficiency. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, hazardous material handling requirements, OSHA standards, and company policies; support internal and external audits and maintain accurate documentation and records for all warehouse and logistics activities. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support overall warehouse, logistics, and Supply Chain objectives.
WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Operations Management preferred. Equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered — candidates with college coursework (completed or in progress) alongside strong operational experience are encouraged to apply. Relevant industry certifications such as APICS CSCP or CPIM are a plus. Typically requires 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, and inventory management experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or advanced materials environment, with 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role managing direct reports. Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control methodologies (cycle counting, ABC analysis), material flow, receiving, and shipping processes. ERP system proficiency required; SAP experience required, with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) highly preferred. Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Kanban systems, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies in a production environment. Demonstrated ability to analyze operational data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that measurably improve inventory accuracy and logistics performance. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; comfortable building and maintaining performance dashboards and operational reports. Forklift certification and material handling equipment experience preferred; commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence in all activities. Curious? Apply now!
