Responsibilities Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products. Coordinate with warehouse staff to organize and prepare orders for shipping. Manage and train shipping team members to maintain high performance and safety standards. Monitor shipping schedules and adjust plans as necessary to meet delivery deadlines. Liaise with carriers, freight companies, and vendors to negotiate shipping rates and services. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate shipping records and generate reports on shipment statuses and performance metrics. Identify and resolve shipping-related issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce shipping costs. Requirements Requirements Proven experience as a Shipping Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within logistics or warehouse environment preferred. Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier regulations, and inventory management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proficient in using shipping software, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Associate or bachelor's degree in any field required; (logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred) Knowledge of safety and compliance standards relevant to shipping and transportation.
