DETAILED WAREHOUSE DUTIES

We are looking for the right individual to fulfill this position in a company that appreciates the dedication of its employees. We do highly specialized shipping that requires the utmost attention to detail. This position requires someone that has the ability to multi task with great efficiency. This is not a standard shipping/receiving position and ask that you read the requirements before applying. This position will be responsible for actively managing all the warehouse functions. This will include proper receiving of product, keeping the warehouse clean and organized, monitoring of all customer orders to meet the required shipping timelines, proper paper and computer documentation as well as helping to prepare daily shipments to the customers. We are a small company with great employees and customers. We need someone that is dedicated, very detail oriented, cost conscious of supplies and materials as well as flexible so that we meet the needs of our customer's high expectations. We are interested in someone that is looking for long term employment that will take pride in their work and their environment. You will need good communication skills. There is verbal and written correspondence that is a daily part of this position. You will need to fill out government forms and labels with precision and accuracy You will need to analyze best shipping method for individual situations Ensure all areas are kept orderly, clean and safe Perform general maintenance tasks in office and warehouse Willingness to be flexible for rush orders etc. Keep a friendly, professional and positive attitude in all dealings with customers, vendors and coworkers

Requirements:

Ability to routinely lift packages in excess of 50 pounds Must have a passion for taking care of customers and an outstanding work ethic Basic computer abilities necessary Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently Requires an abundance of attention to detail in labeling and shipping documents Need to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Must be able to work with 100% accuracy on delivery methods and labeling Need to be able to stay organized with merchandise and paperwork Maintain a "can do" attitude and take the initiative to learn new methods High School Diploma Valid U.S. Driver's license
