This is a hands-on position that requires strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and knowledge of commercial roofing materials. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and yard to ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Schedule deliveries, pickups, and material transfers to support field operations. Purchase roofing materials, tools, and supplies while maintaining vendor relationships. Track inventory levels and ensure materials are available for upcoming projects. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Coordinate material staging and loading for crews. Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records using computer systems. Monitor company equipment and ensure accountability for issued tools and materials. Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and branch leadership to meet operational needs. Ensure all yard activities comply with company safety standards. Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, yard, purchasing, or inventory management. Knowledge of commercial roofing materials is required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and inventory/purchasing software. Experience scheduling deliveries, material orders, and logistics. Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills. Forklift experience is preferred (or willingness to become certified). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with the ability to pass an MVD (Motor Vehicle Division) check . Why Join Progressive Roofing?
